Coach the Coach
Weekly sessions
The Club is proud to present Coach the Coach with Ash Mohtadi again these season. Ash will be hosting a series of sessions on various topic new and experienced coaches will find beneficial. Coach the coach is free to all Club coaches. Coaches are requested to email Ash to register. almohtadi@shaw.ca
All session run 6 to 7:30 at the Soccer Club house at Valley View
Sessions based on teach the coach how to coach the basics in soccer in a fun manner with the following emphasis.
2 Sep 08- First Attacker- Attacking Technical Skills (Dribbling, passing, shooting) *Ash will tailor the session for Coaches attending the House coaches meeting starting at 7:00
8 Sep 08- First Defender- Defending Technical Skills (1 v 1)
15 Sep 08- Second Attacker- Tactical Attacking "Give and Go, Overlap, Crossovers"
22 Sep 08- Second Defender- Defending in Balance
29 Sep 08- Bringing the Ball Out the Back
Coach the Coach
Mini Coaching Clinic
For Micro Coaches or new coaches the club will host a mini soccer clinic covering the fundamentals in Coaching. Coach the coach Mini Clinic is free to all Club coaches. Coaches are requested to email Ash to register. almohtadi@shaw.ca
Come ready to play and with a pad and pen.

These clinic is open to all club
coaches wishing to attend. The club will pay for the
coaches that attend. Anyone wishing to take either or
both clinic are to contact our VP of Development Darrin
McLeod (mcleodclan@telus.net)
for the payment code. Once they coaches have the code
they are required to register with BC Soccer by using
the link below. There are no prerequisites for either of
these clinics. They may be taken in any order.
Community Coach Senior
Any coach wishing to take the Senior clinic are asked to contact Darrin McLeod, mcleodclan@telus.net. Plans are in the works to host this clinic over the fall season.
