The Upper
Island Soccer Association along with some of its member
clubs donated some 20 boxes of soccer equipment to African
Youth Ministries of Uganda to help them further their
work with AIDS orphans in that country. With
the generous support of Total Delivery Systems,
the boxes were transported to Vancouver where they will be added
to other donations for delivery by container to Uganda.

Danone Nations
Cup
Danone Nations Cup is an
International Tournament open to all soccer players both
male and female in the U11 and U12 age groups. All
training camps and tryouts are FREE all you have to do
is register online. The players chosen will play off
against Danone provincial teams from across Canada, and
the winning team will take an all expenses paid trip to
FRANCE to Compete in an International Tournament the
following summer. This is a very exciting opportunity
that all players should have the chance to attend. The
camps are full of fun, prizes, yogurt and lots of
soccer.

Electronic Newsletter
We
have added an electronic news letter service to
provide our members with regular and current
newsletters. A newsletter is a valuable tool to keep
everyone informed about club happenings. We have
created several lists, general information, coaching
information, etc, from which members can select what
Club news they wish to receive. Members can
subscribe to these lists by typing their email
address in the box below and clicking “Go”. Adding
yourself to a list or lists only requires the
completions of a couple simple steps.
Under no
circumstances will members email address be given to anyone

Once subscribed
members can easily subscribe to other lists, unsubscribe and
change their settings.
