You might be wondering about soccer practices tonight, as we have some wet and cool weather….?
The procedure for all CVUSC programming decisions relating to weather and cancellations is that all practices and games proceed, unless we are directed from our community partners that the fields are closed due to weather. If our community partners close the fields, we provide status updates here:
HOWEVER…
Divisional Managers can consult with coaches to cancel practices due to weather.
If this happens, players/families will hear from Coaches and/or Managers (and not from the club directly …).
Today our Manager of Soccer-Logistics, in discussion with our Assistant Technical Director , have CANCELLED all ‘Valley Youth Soccer League’ (VYSL) practices due to inclement weather and field conditions. Our Manager of Soccer-Logistics has emailed all VYSL Divisional Managers to advise them.
Scheduled Pacific Development League (PDL) practices, and all scheduled team practices, on Vanier Turf-1 and Vanier Turf-2 WILL PROCEED.
Stay warm VYSL Families…
